At Epsilon, it’s in our DNA to give back and serve communities around us in ways we can. We’ve joined hands with The Bodhi Tree Foundation to support 3 impactful causes under the pillars of Education, Empowerment & Environment.
Choose a cause you care for deeply, make a donation before October 31 and we will match the total funds towards the causes.
Printed and written texts are not completely accessible to people with vision impairment. This means that a lot of print material from newspapers to legal documents to office documents to bills all become inaccessible to our friends with vision impairment. This cuts off a lot of educational opportunities for them and thus a lot of job opportunities as well. Here is a first step to make education accessible to persons with vision impairment by making libraries accessible.
We will identify government public libraries or libraries inside government schools and make them accessible by installing KIBO (Knowledge in A Box) device. This is a powerful AI-enabled solution that can scan any printed or written material placed below it.
Here is what it can do post scanning:
The moment an institution is accessible, more students with vision impairment feel confident to join the institution. Each device costs about 1.2L including the cost of manufacturing, setting up in the library, training the librarians, post implementation support.
Let’s join hands to make as many libraries accessible as possible.
